Daniel P. Barron

No, bro, your support of sexual immorality leads to hell.

Ubermensch: Kids having intercourse before marriage.
SQUUT: Yes, that's a sin.

Daniel: It's okay to "have sex before marriage" as long as you marry the person you have sex with. i

Ubermensch: My point is many Christians say they are christian but don't follow it. It's just a name for them and they don't live the life. Going to church every week doesn't make you a good christian.
Oliver_: So?
SQUUT: (NIV) Revelation 3:

16 ii So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Oliver_: It says literally nothing against strong "fatih'ed" Christians, who follow His law and commit good works.
Ubermensch: I gave you this list of huge contradictions. iii
Oliver_: Also, God doesn't take lightly to bad faith and sinners, especially if they are unrepentant.
Ubermensch: You just said they're all out of context.

JN 1:1 iv Jesus was God incarnate.
AC 2:22 v Jesus was a man approved by God.

Well that's really debatable. I don't think kids aged 16 who're boyfriend and girlfriend with each other will marry.

Daniel: God is a man and God is multiple Gods.

Ubermensch: Unless teen pregnancy forces them to. They'll just use a condom, which is also forbidden?

Daniel: Most people who claim to be christian actually aren't. Condoms are not forbidden.

Ubermensch: That's the problem with Christianity.
SQUUT: Ubermensch, you don't really make sense.
Oliver_: That's not true, Daniel. Fornication has been explicitly prohibited. (DRA) Galatians 5:

19 vi Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, immodesty, luxury, 20 Idolatry, witchcrafts, enmities, contentions, emulations, wraths, quarrels, dissensions, sects, 21 Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God.

Daniel: It's not fornication if you marry. The act of sex is "becoming one flesh." No ceremony is necessary.

SQUUT: Yes there are lukewarm Christians, and there are sinners.
BackFire: There was a need to procreate in order to let society grow. That's why sex was allowed only to reproduce.
Ubermensch: (KJV) Acts 2:

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Daniel: You don't have to have the intention of reproducing to have sex. Nothing defiles the bed of marriage. vii

Oliver_: Fornication is sex before marriage, whoever the person is.
Ubermensch: I'm pretty sure Christians are anti condoms.

Daniel: No, it's sex outside of marriage. False Christians are anti-condoms.

Oliver_: And if you have sex with a person you aren't married to, it's fornication.

Daniel: No, you just married them. viii Sex is marriage. ix

SQUUT: Ubermensch, so if you're married you cannot use condoms?
Ubermensch: Oliver is a Catholic; I don't see Catholics use condoms. They make loads of kids.

Daniel: Catholicism leads to hell.

Oliver_: Niba if that's the case, how can you commit fornication without committing adultery at the same time?

Daniel: Adultery is taking another man's wife.

Oliver_: No, bro, your support of sexual immorality leads to hell.

Daniel: I don't support sexual immorality; you have set up standards that are not supported by the Bible.

Ubermensch: Daniel, do you see the Catholic bible as the word of god?
SQUUT: Stupid conversation; I'm out.

Daniel: What is "the Catholic bible" ?

Ubermensch: There's like so many bible versions.

Daniel: I like NKJV.

Oliver_: $ban Daniel subversive "Protestant" who says sex is marriage, and therefore you can't fornicate. Pray for his soul.
Servus: Banned Daniel for: subversive "Protestant" who says sex is marriage, and therefore you can't fornicate. Pray for his soul.

  1. Darwin: No, if there is no intention of staying for life (marriage), it is harlotry by intent: "is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." (Heb 4:12). If after intercourse, they decide to stay together (be married), that's all good. But, the initial intent was bad. Because there was no intention of staying. [That is] harlotry.

  2. Revelation 3:

16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

  4. John 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

  6. Galatians 5:

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

  7. Hebrews 13:

4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

  8. Darwin: You can't say no to this. Because, sex with a harlot is not viewed as marriage but rather fornication (sexual immorality). Reason being, because they are not in a lifetime commitment (not staying one flesh).

     ^

  9. Darwin: That needs clarification, because sex with a harlot is indeed one flesh, but they don't stay together, thus no marriage (life time commitment).

  1. Nate: Daniel, having sex before marriage is okay if you intend on marrying the person?
    Daniel: Yes.
Nate: lol. So basically sex before marriage is okay as long as you think you want to be with someone forever even if that thought is only there for that night? Nice.
Daniel: No, what you are describing is divorce.

  2. [...] Show me where. Or what is this "oriented towards" ; obviously the Bible says you should be married to a person you have sex with, and also obviously children are a result of having had sex with someone. (except in the case of [...]
