Daniel P. Barron

I do not think you know what Christology means.

Tuesday, January 29, 2019

Eco-Friendly: No offense man. But I don’t think anybody is reading your blog.

Daniel: And yet I have recent comments.

Eco-Friendly: I don’t trust some random blog. What are your credentials why should I take your word.

Daniel: What are the credentials of [this chat]?

Eco-Friendly: No [chat] I know of has a blog making dogmatic statements. What church do you go to?

Daniel: A True Church.

Eco-Friendly: Which is that. When do you meet and how often.

Daniel: We meet twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday.

Lucien: Pentecostal.
Eco-Friendly: Describe your christology, Daniel.

Daniel: It's described well enough at http://atruechurch.info/

Eco-Friendly: Uhm where. I just see random sperging i about the unbiblical idea of eternal torment.
Lucien: Nasty.

Daniel: Oh, I have a good article for you: "Jehovah's Witnesses" Are Not Jehovah's Witnesses ii

Eco-Friendly: Okay, but first explain your christology.

Daniel: We believe the entire Bible.

hyperdogee: I hope annihliationism is true. I don't want to exist forever, unless I find I am one of God's in the end. This one presby iii told me he's more terrified by non-existence than eternal torment. Which I found unbelievable. Aquinas said it is merciful for God sustain the souls in hell forever.
Eco-Friendly: I'll read anything you send me when I get home from work. iv
Lucien: Imagine working.
Eco-Friendly: Daniel, I do not think you know what Christology means. v What are your Christological views. This article from your "atruechurch" is so laughable.
Lucien: It's a true church though.
Eco-Friendly:

The JW's own Bible proclaims Jesus to be God in John 1:1.

In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. (NWT)

You do not understand what the word a god means. [laughing]
Lucien: Why call it a true church. It would've been better if they named it The true church. vi
Eco-Friendly: Man this is the worst refutation I have ever read. Dr. Murray Harris wrote that the terms translated God in the Hebrew Bible may signify quote

"Human rulers or judges, regarded as divine representatives or as bearers of divine authority and majesty Spiritual or heavenly beings, [...] both el, [meaning 'god'] and elohim [meaning 'gods'], have extended or 'irregular' applications to angels or to persons who represent on earth divine power, judgment, or majesty."

-- from his book Jesus as God, pp. 24, 26. As our own Arius wrote:

"This same sort of principle can be found at Isa. 43:10, vii in which Jehovah God says "besides me there is no savior." Yet various Israelite judges are called savior using the same Hebrew term found in Isa. 43:10. (Jdg. 3:9 viii) And so we see that by saying there is no savior besides me, God does not mean to exclude all from having the title savior applied to them in a different sense. Only Jehovah God is savior in a unique sense, yet others may be called savior in different senses. Similarly, there is no God besides him, and yet in an entirely different sense others may be called God."

So I ask again, Daniel, what are you Christological views. I hope for your sake you are not the one who writes these blogs.
kyrios_Iesous_|_Luke_12_: Why does one of the signs on that website say Jesus did 9/11. Kek ix
Eco-Friendly: They are the most unresearched things I have ever seen.
hyperdogee: (NASB) Amos 3:

6 x If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble?
If a calamity occurs in a city has not the Lord done it?

I guess. If I'm not wrong.

Daniel: Yes, I am "Daniel" in those articles.

Eco-Friendly: What are your Christological views?

Daniel: Check out the website man.

Eco-Friendly: I looked at the articles you sent me. They told me nothing.

Daniel: "Statement of Faith."

Eco-Friendly: This doesn't really help. How about you just tell me.
hyperdogee:

"We believe God is Spirit (John 4:24 xi) and this One Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:4 xii) is God (2 Corinthians 3:17 xiii) and is literally Seven Spirits. For more on that, please see The Seven Spirits Are God (Revelation 1:4 xiv).

We believe the city of Jerusalem is God (Psalm 48:12-14 xv).

We believe the Throne, Heaven, and the Kingdom Are God (Revelation 16:17; xvi Luke 15:18; xvii Matthew 6:33 xviii).

We believe the Horses of Zechariah 1 Are God (Zechariah 1:8-17 xix)."

Lucien: Most activity in a while.
Eco-Friendly: Oh. Well yeah.
hyperdogee: I've never heard such a thing.
Eco-Friendly: I'm not gonna let a retart spew nonsense.
hyperdogee: "The Seven Spirits of God Are God" xx
Lucien: Use your holy words.
Lucien A misguided brother
Eco-Friendly: This guy takes everything literally from the Bible I'm guessing. And out of context too.
kyrios_Iesous_|_Luke_12_: John 8:28 xxi is the best proof you have of Jesus' ontological divinity?
Eco-Friendly: lol, Daniel.

Daniel: What?

hyperdogee:

Now, if there are seven literal Spirits in the Godhead, what is the total number in the Godhead? Scripture never explicitly says. The Catholic church, along with the Protestant church, typically hold fast to the term "Trinity" (three in one) which is a term that is found nowhere in holy writ. Although the concept of three in one is certainly found (e.g. Isaiah 48:16; xxii Matthew 28:19 xxiii), it is not as is taught in the Catholic and Protestant Athanasian Creed (see He Is Holy Gods, under point V). Consequentially, those who hold to a "Trinity" typically reject the literal seven Spirits of God of Scripture, because they have fallen prey to the traditions of men (Colossians 2:8-10 xxiv). In so doing, as the above illustrates, they reject the true God.

If the seven Spirits are accepted, then it becomes apparent that there is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (who is seven Spirits). Adding this up equals 9, and that is the number of "Holy"s found in the Majority of Greek manuscripts in Revelation 4:8. xxv

kyrios_Iesous_|_Luke_12_: (RSV) Revelation 4:

8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing,

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,
who was and is and is to come!”

Alien: Would that make God a Nonity? Nine persons all sharing the same essence.
hyperdogee: He says at the end that the number is at least 10.

10 And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, “These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth.”

11 So they answered the Angel of the Lord, who stood among the myrtle trees, and said, “We have walked to and fro throughout the earth, and behold, all the earth is resting quietly.”

12 Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, “O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?”

13 And the Lord answered the angel who talked to me, with good and comforting words. 14 So the angel who spoke with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts:

    “I am zealous for Jerusalem
And for Zion with great zeal.
    15 I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease;
For I was a little angry,
And they helped—but with evil intent.”

16 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord:

    “I am returning to Jerusalem with mercy;
My house shall be built in it,” says the Lord of hosts,
“And a surveyor’s line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.” ’

17 “Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts:

    “My cities shall again spread out through prosperity;
The Lord will again comfort Zion,
And will again choose Jerusalem.” ’ ”
