A Muslim asked me about denominations and the evidence of Scripture.
What denomination are you?
We believe that all the denominations lead to hell. i We simply fear God and believe His Word.
What's your belief on to get salvation, since so many people believe different things.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." ii
I know some catholic and orthodox; they’re really strong in their belief that Protestants are wrong.
Protestantism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, and Islam all lead to hell.
Mohammed said hold on to the Quran and sunnah. Which bible do you use? 66?
The 66 books from Genesis to Revelation.
Very open-minded... iii I already checked that article before I last parted.
You are welcome to tell me how Islam is the truth, but I will compare what you say to what Scripture says; iv I will always side with Scripture. I do not need to accept your faith on its face. I do you no good saying "believe whatever you like." v You are welcome to argue your side, and I will argue back. vi
You want to side with scripture? Sure, but why is that scripture relevant? On what basis? You need to justify putting those 66 books above any other written text in history. It has to be consistent with reality.
What's more, the Quran declares these books to be "relevant:"
"O People of the Book! Ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Torah. (sic) The Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." viii
