Whats your thoughts on being successful and famous?
It's not inherently wrong to be successful or famous, but Scripture does say it's impossible i for a rich man to be saved. ii It's also unlikely for anyone to be saved, iii but possessing great wealth iv is noted as being particularly hindering. Also, Scripture says the world will hate believers. v If someone is famous or loved by the world, it's a sign that they are not in the truth. And if we look at some famous people, it's likely we will find that they are not in the truth. I do not know of any famous people who are in the truth.
How about professional athletes?
It's not wrong to be a professional athlete.
Justin Bieber is a Christian.
I have seen his interviews and I didn't hear anything to make me believe he was in the truth.
