This should have been a comment on "Shall The Righteous Without Faith Die?" by Grace Obomanu, but it didn't get approved.

shall the righteous without faith die?

Yes. i

Surely, whosoever calls upon the name of The Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13, ii Acts 2:21, iii Joel 2:32 iv)

Not necessarily. v

  1. Isaiah 64:

6 But we are all like an unclean thing,
    And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
    Have taken us away.

     ^

  2. Romans 10:

13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Darwin: Romans 10:13 is only true "in truth." ". . . those who worship Him MUST worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24). "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
to all who call upon Him in truth." (Psalm 145:18)

     ^

  3. Acts 2:

21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
    Shall be saved.’

     ^

  4. Joel 2:

32 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
    Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance,
    As the Lord has said,
Among the remnant whom the Lord calls.

     ^

  5. Matthew 7:

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

     ^
