Much more sisters

On the topic of marrying sisters:

This is valuable in itself, given that a life spent without having ****** twins is a life wasted,

Mnah. Such an act is wicked. i

Leviticus 18:17 You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness. 18 Nor shall you take a woman as a rival to her sister, to uncover her nakedness while the other is alive.

It defiles people, nations, and even the land.

Leviticus 18:24 ‘Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. 25 For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants.

o.O now I’ve done it ? ii

The problem with this whole theory is that women who lie with the same man by this fact are much more sisters than they could conceivably be for the reason that they grew up together – after all, their husband is above their father, in the sense the present owner is above the past owner ; and the full owner is above the mere fiduciary.

It should only matter that God declared an act to be wicked, iii for us to avoid it, but this secular conjecture iv even works in the favor of a Biblical standard. Indeed the relationship between sister wives is much more intimate than that of biological sisters. It logically follows that sisters should not be married to the same man; an intimate relationship with one’s sister is called incest, and it too is wicked. The intimacy between wives is not considered bad, but specifically intimacy with close blood relatives is said to defile.

Leviticus 18:9 The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover.

  1. Probably. Sorta. It's hard to say what constitutes "rivalry" in the Leviticus reference. Is it possible to marry two sisters without making them rivals? ^
  2. Not really. It’s enough to simply not believe the entire Bible. Considering that he doesn’t, it’s remarkable how often Mircea’s judgments agree with The Bible. ^
  3. NKJV:

Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

     ^

  4. That has a nice ring to it. ^
