On the topic of masturbation and the law.

How did the thief on the cross go to heaven? i He wasn't holy.

He believed God.

Well your website is wrong then. There is no way that thief was holy, and he still got saved.

Hebrews 12:14 says, "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." If you are "without holiness" you will not see the Lord. In other words, your life must be holy or you will not be saved.

How do you figure the man wasn't holy?

He was a thief nailed to a cross.

So? How does that mean he isn't holy?

Thieving is a serious sin, he probably spent much of his life stealing, and partaking in criminal activity.

But he believed until the end. ii

According to you, his life must be holy or he would not be saved.

The rest of his life from being saved until death was indeed holy.

So you say faith in Jesus is all you need to be saved?

Yes.

Do you keep the Sabbath on Sunday or Saturday?

The Sabbath is every day to those who believe.

Does masturbation lead to hell?

No.

What about masturbation to pornography -- does that lead to hell?

Yes.

When you masturbate, you are donating sperm to demonic entities; to Satan's kingdom. It's similar to a blood sacrifice, but with semen. This is why when you stop masturbating, you meet succubus' in the dreams that will try to have sex with you and cause orgasm.

Where does Scripture say that?

And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell. iii

Yes; what is your point?

Masturbation does not glorify Jesus in any way; it's a despicable sinful act, and God hates it.

Where does Scripture say this?

God gave us conscience, and most people know it's a sinful and shameful act to masturbate. That's why it's done in secret.

Where does Scripture say this? Most people poop "in secret," and yet pooping isn't wrong.

When Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15 since they show that the work of the Law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them. 16 This will come to pass on that day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel. iv

Where does the law say it's wrong to masturbate?

There must be many things the law doesn't explicitly say are forbidden; yet they are sins.

Like what other things?

Find me scripture saying it's wrong to hack into someone's computer network?

Why should I find such a thing? I didn't say such a thing is wrong.

But obviously it is wrong to hack into someone's computer.

I don't agree that such a thing is obvious. v

Did Samson get saved?

Samson endured to the end. He was righteous.

Samson committed suicide and killed many people by breaking the pillars.

Yes; his suicide was an act of war.

I think you might be hyper-legalistic and might not even be born again in the holy spirit.

You are the one saying it is wrong to masturbate. It's "legalistic" to ask for you to show me where Scripture forbids this thing?

  1. Referring to Luke 23:

39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” 42 Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

43 And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

     ^

  2. Matthew 24:

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

     ^

  3. Quoting Matthew 5:

27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

     ^

  4. Quoting Romans 2:

12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

     ^

  5. There is Luke 6:

31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

You shouldn't do to someone's computer that which you wouldn't want done to your own; when it comes to hacking, this is a matter of conscience rather than any sort of specific definition of action. ^

One Response

  1. [...] Not unlike the argument about where the comma should go in Luke 23:43. "I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." Meaning, "you will be with Me today." Some argue it should read, "I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise." Meaning, "you will be with Me at some time later on." This is required by the false teaching against immediate entry into heaven. [...]
