Why does God allow really bad things to happen to people? I asked my friend if she believed in God and she said no, God wouldn't let the stuff that happened to me happen to me.
God causes the bad things to happen. i
Why?
To show His wrath. ii
To good people?
There are no good people, iii but those who have Christ are tested. iv

22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one. - Revelation 2:
10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
The whole duality thing. Good and evil existing together in the human experience. Pretty deep stuff.
