I’ve been praying for God to deliver me from this and I still struggle with it. I pray when I have these urges at night and I still end up being overpowered by them. Am I not praying hard enough?
It's not wrong to masturbate, provided that you aren't looking at pornography or thinking about a woman who isn't your wife.

Ironical that you accuse everything out there of condemning to Hell but you are fine with the grave sin of masturbation, of all things.
Show me where the Bible describes masturbation as being a "grave sin."

Jesus made it clear that adultery can be committed in the heart, even though no physical intercourse has taken place. "The imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth," (Genesis 8:21) so it would not be surprising to find evil masturbatic activity rampant in society. Masturbation with evil imaginations, which could include the use of pornographic material, is most certainly wicked (see also Job 31:1-4; Proverbs 6:25).
